VF is an American worldwide apparel and footwear company that has their manufacture team located in Asia. They were going to launch a new strategy, P.R.I.D.E., in Asia Pacific region for increasing the standard of quality control.


The target employees are mostly factory workers with lower education level. So we need to create the visual identity in a way that is easy to understand. We took inspiration of the laboratory signage and applied it into our concept. We created 5 simple icons with 5 distinguish colours as the new strategy. We used bright colours to attract employees' attention and make them easier to remember each of them.

We used a grid layout for the brand to show the diversity of vf. We also used lomography style imagery to show the dynamic and wonderful side of the industry. We created some supporting material for them to use in the factory like an inspection kit, andon board, AQL cards, SPI Gauges and large posters.
