We created this Hong Kong-style painted porcelain “Gangcai” plate for HKTDC as a premium for VIPs. The plate's design captures the essence of Hong Kong, with five sets of images consisting of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the scenic view of Victoria Harbour, authentic Hong Kong food, traditional dragon dance, and the popular forms of transportation. The plate's rim and the space between the pictures are decorated with traditional garden and butterfly motifs commonly seen in Kwon-Glazed porcelain (“Guangcai”). These decorations symbolise a carefree and auspicious life.
