VENICE DESIGN 2017 at Palazzo Michiel, Venice, Italy from 13th May to 26th November 2017.

It is our honoured to be invited by the GAA Foundation to participate in the Venice Design 2017. We are welcomed to showcase any piece in our style. We were thinking to create a unique series of illustration that can introduce a happy side of Hong Kong.


Hong Kong is a colourful place with all different things happening around this tiny city. Born and grew up in this wonderful place let us to be praised with all the dynamic surrounding us. This series of illustrations used lenticular printing effect to captured the moment of energy, the seconds of being alive. We hope to introduce the bright side of Hong Kong and to bring a little humour to everyone.

Hot pot is one of the Hong Kong classic food. We love to have it during family and friends gathering. The joy of sharing the food and chit chat with friends is the simplest and best thing in life!

Horse racing is a tradition left behind from the British colonial period. And is one of the legal gambling activity in Hong Kong. During the weekends, men are there shouting for the horse that they bet.

The metro in Hong Kong is one of the busiest railway in the world. We spent so much of our time in the train. We can see so many different people in this small carriage.


MAHJONG GATHERING

Mahjong is a typical leisure activities especially during Chinese New Year. We love to catch up and gossips with each others using this particular long hours of sitting together.
